Microsoft's Plan For Blizzard Activision Purchase In The UK: What To Expect And How They're Preparing

Once again, the purchase of Activision Blizzard faces a series of problems. As you surely know, the United Kingdom Commission, or CMA) is one of the great organizations that is deliberating the acquisition of this company. While some believe that this process will come to an end without many complications, it has been reported that Microsoft is waiting for a negative result. According to The New York Times, Microsoft expects the CMA to oppose the purchase of Blizzard Activision, this as a result to the anticompetitive warning shared by the European Union this week. Fortunately, the company believes that the European Commission is open to possible remedies, and the company hopes to convince these two agencies to accept their concessions and approve the agreement. If this manages to be a success, an agreement with the FTC could be reached before its programmed trial by the end of this year.

However, the report states that any of the three agencies could press the others to oppose the acquisition. At the moment, the CMA is expected to reveal whether to approve the acquisition until next March, so Microsoft still has some time to convince this organization to be in its favor. In related issues, Microsoft calls Sony a liar for the purchase of Blizzard Activision. Similarly, it is ensured that the Xbox 360 store will remain open.

How

Editor's note: While the purchase of Activision Blizzard will be carried out in one way or another, the question is how much is willing to sacrifice Microsoft so that the regulators of the United States and Europe, the most important markets for them, are willing to make the process Carry out without further problems.
